Episode 2: Making cheese at Star Thrower Farm

No animal death here, just sheep and humans working together to create delicious cheese.  I wanted to post this video as my second episode to show the kind of diversity of programing that will be put up on The Perennial Plate.  This will be a place for entertainment, learning, cooking tips and more.  Star Thrower Farm is where this latest video takes place, its run by Scott and Deborah Pikovsky who just started raising animals and making cheese in the last few years.  In fact, Deborah left a corporate job to start working on the farm, very inspiring.  Visit their website at www.starthrowerfarm.com

  3. I love what you are doing here. I too just left corporate America (after 30 years…) my husband and I just bought 12.5 acres of land in upstate NY and are in the process of planning our escape there. We plan on living a sustainable life. Making cheese, growing organic fruits and vegetables and spreading the word of living responsibly, naturally and locally. I’m off to make a donation to you!
