Episode 47: Stelline & Stellita

On the coldest day of the year (-25) I went milking goats with my friend Lisa Ringer.  The milk froze to the side of the pale in an instant, but the rest came inside for cheese making.  Chevre is about the easiest thing in the world to make (if you have a packet of starter… and a goat).  Watch this video to see the process from goat to milk to cheese to chops with sweet potato and chevre.

Darn, that might be the best looking meal you have made so far.

What about us folks that can't go milk a goat. Can we buy some milk and them make that good looking cheese?

Also, was that some mutton chops you just put on the cheese? Kinda strange.

  2. Nice bro. I wanna check out our local goat farm. Not in that freezing weather though. Much nicer here in SoCal.

    Hi Daniel,

I’ve tried to watch this video a few times now (I’m going through the season) and there is no sound accompanying the video at all.
