Episode 128: Lunch with Massimo

We never meant to make a video with Massimo Bottura (the chef behind Osteria Francescana), but a few minutes after meeting him and falling for his charm, we hit record. This little film aims to slightly represent the experience at this very fine restaurant and of this exceptional man.

Love this. Parts of it remind me of the food scenes from “I Am Love,” the gorgeous Tilda Swinton movie. Nice work, guys! Sorry to be saying goodbye to Italy, but excited about what’s next!

My cousin’s husband. I have never met him, but now I have at least heard him and watched the magic of him. He is incredibly creative and expressive, and I enjoy reading about him (and now watching him) wherever, whenever I can!

I loved the passion but best of all was the crunch of the leaves as Daniel put them in his mouth! I didn’t manage to leave a comment about turkey but I loved it and felt transported back. Thanks a million!

there are people,so many people, who see food as just well,..food.But there are some people who see it as something else entirely-a piece of art-a memory-an experience-a journey, etc…I’m personally one of those people and I could see myself closing my eyes and tasting, feeling those leaves and going on that journey with Massimo.Thank you for sharing 🙂
