I like the two part episode!
Camping and cooking never really seemed like a winning combination until I saw this… Gives me hope. Love what you're doing. Please keep it up.
Honey??? I think I know where you can get some maple syrup! Doesn't everything taste better in the boundary waters?
Oh, that fish looked good. My vote is for that kind of simplicity when it comes to fresh white fish in-camp. There should be a law that if you own a fishing or hunting license, you can't buy lowry's seasoning salt.
What's wrong with honey? Actually the truth is that I just brought it cause of the size.
This brings back memories of my childhood. My parents brought us kids on adventures into the brush. I have a vivid memory of lifting the canoe over a beaver dam that stretched from the shore of a lake to a small island. It was amazing! Thanks for all of the good eats and memories!
Hey Dori, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and it brought back memories. You should go back!
Brilliant. This is wonderful. Keep going, friend!
Love your BWCA piece! We stayed on an amazing fishing site this summer, with buckets of blueberries! We had oodles of mushrooms around but never dreamt of eating them. Here’s a link to a photo of one we saw from the latrine. Gigantic! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10200334959718275&set=a.10200334923557371.1073741839.1282950079&type=3&theater
Now I’ll have to learn about bwca mushrooms to go with our fish!
I’m curious about your mic and camera – what equipment do you use?
