Last week I did a rallying cry for donations… and over the course of the week I was continually blown away by the generosity of viewers, friends, story contributors and strangers alike. We have been working hard, but having the support of you all, really lights a fire under my a$$. We went from 23% of our goal early last Monday, to over 62% today. Amazing… BUT we aren’t there yet, so keep spreading the word and if you haven’t yet, donate HERE.
In other exciting news: if you live in Minnesota, we are having a PARTY! on April 16th out at Two Pony Gardens.The event is a send off, spring celebration as well as Fundraiser for The Perennial Plate. I will be slinging pies using Two Pony Host Lisa Ringer’s sour dough starter as well as her badass outdoor pizza oven. There will be a silent auction and plenty of local booze and tunes. So grab your picnic blanket and boots and come get jolly. The event, food and booze are paid for by “donation” Please RSVP on FACEBOOK.
Also, Mirra has written another blog post about how difficult I am and she’s posting some hillarious links on Twitter. On top of all that, we are excited about the inclusion of pictures in the most recent recipe – and there are going to be more photos of food, people and action from here on out!
